Spent years on the road. Whataburger is always my go to when I’m hungry. Food here is always hot and yummy. Order was right. Staff is super friendly. Inside and out are always clean. Can’t say enough about this location. Even though being off Wesley is a definitely not the best, I’ll take this location one over any other right off 30. My favorite Whataburger in most of Texas.
They have the worst iced coffee I've ever tasted, even after I added some of my own creamer I still had to pour it out. I tried both the caramel iced coffee and the vanilla iced coffee, double thumbs down. Breakfast taquitos are usually pretty good though, depending on the cook they have on shift. Drive thru cashiers could be a little nicer, not the best attitudes being in customer service. Understandable the job probably sucks, but you're interacting with customers so you should at least crack a tiny smile and be somewhat polite.
This Whataburger location is consistently very busy, but unfortunately, the experience doesn't quite live up to the hustle. The building itself feels old and a bit beat up, with a "sticky" atmosphere that suggests it could use a deep clean and some modernizing. As for the food, the service is a little slow, and the burgers consistently come out lukewarm rather than fresh and hot. While it's a convenient spot, the quality and cleanliness definitely have room for improvement
Skimping on sauce. I didn’t order wings with a side of buffalo, I ordered buffalo wings. No reason for it to look like this. Food was made fresh but I did an online order and waited 10 minutes longer than the expected time. I also asked for extra sauces that I did not get. Both girls who came out seemed irritated.
Food had a nice flavor. It was hot and freshly prepared. Unfortunately, they forgot to give us our chicken strips. So we had to drive back a couple of miles to retrieve them.
