VERC is conveniently located on Nimitz with plenty of parking, making every visit easy and stress-free. The doctors and staff are exceptional. Dr. Erika Sox is one of the best veterinarians I've ever worked with. She takes the time to clearly explain everything regarding our senior fur baby, Lucky, and always makes us feel informed and supported. I also appreciate the thoughtful amenities, like complimentary coffee and filtered water for clients. It's those little touches that make a difference during longer visits. I learned that VERC has been recognized for its low-stress approach to animal care, and it truly shows. The large waiting area, warm and compassionate staff, and gentle handling of pets create a calm environment. Veterinary care—especially for senior pets—is an investment, but I have complete confidence that my animals are receiving the highest quality care at VERC. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for knowledgeable, compassionate, and professional veterinary care.
I had such a great experience at this clinic when I brought my puppy Kona in one morning because she suddenly got sick. It was a really stressful moment for me, but the entire team took such good care of her and made me feel at ease right away. Not only did Kona start feeling better after the visit, but her recovery has been incredibly fast, which I truly believe reflects the quality of care she received. You can tell they genuinely care about the animals they treat. I especially want to thank Holly, the assistant, who was so kind and attentive throughout our visit. She explained the medication instructions clearly and made sure I fully understood everything before we left. That level of care and patience meant a lot to me. I’m so grateful for their help and would highly recommend this clinic to anyone looking for compassionate and professional care for their pets.
We are beyond grateful to the ER doctors, overnight team, and critical care team for saving Rocko’s life. ❤️ Things declined so quickly, and we were terrified, but every single person cared for him with so much urgency, compassion, and love. They kept us constantly updated, so we were never in the dark. Thank you for fighting so hard for our sweet boy and for treating him like your own. Because of you, we still get to hold our boy in our arms again. We will never forget it! ❤️
This was our first time bringing my dog here, and they are fantastic—definitely our new clinic from now on! The entire staff, from the front desk assistants to the nurses and veterinarians, are incredibly good at what they do. They thoroughly explained everything to me, which our last vet never bothered to do. They went above and beyond by clipping his nails before he went home, and he literally got better overnight. I am so grateful for their excellent care!
My service dog went in after an attack by a pitbull at Punawai . This is what happened . The vet saw him . Brought her out . I noticed one of my bags went missing in the vets office . Her things and their food was in there . When the police came to take the theft report . The doctor took Lia back into the exam room . It took me some time to find out why . He didn’t want to answer any questions so he hid with my injured dog and when she came out she looked fine but a few days later . I find an open wound on the back of her neck . There were 2 staff members that saw me bring the bag in . All of a sudden . They forget . She said , no charge and I wondered why . They didn’t keep the code and do anything . The vet’s code is the animal comes first but to them . It’s money . I told them my brother would pay . He always does. In fact he’s paying for her care at her regular vet . Dr Hummel at Mililani Mauka . That’s dishonest . To take the dog to not answer questions from law enforcement . There are cameras outside and if you’re reading this . That was pretty low stealing her collar and leash . I have video receipts of everything because everything you stole I ordered off apps . Too late to trash everything . The camera took pictures . I’m going to prosecute to the fullest extent and get answers from the vet . Look at the pic . Does that look like I’m bluffing ? I want you all to look at the high reviews . Do they look poor and how come only our stuff is unaccounted for ? Wait…There was only an old man and old woman . If the cameras show they didn’t walk off with and I certainly didn’t . That would only leave the staff members and the doctor . You guy’s better pray the cameras malfunctions but then again . If it does . That’ll prove you took it . This review is now going viral…
