We had an incredible anniversary dinner at The Jones Oyster Co., and it truly exceeded every expectation. Our server, Zoe, was amazing — attentive, friendly, and genuinely invested in making our experience special. The entire staff was welcoming from the moment we walked in. The restaurant itself is small, intimate, and has such a nice vibe. They even brought us a sample of the fish dip, which was delicious and a great start to the meal. The Nola Chargrilled Oysters were the best I’ve ever had — perfectly cooked with that herb lemon butter, and the bread paired with it beautifully. My husband ordered the chowder and thoroughly enjoyed it. For our main entrée, we both chose the Connecticut‑style Lobster Roll, and it was by far the best we’ve ever had. The lobster meat was plentiful, fresh, and succulent, served on a sunflower roll that was incredibly tasty. The fries were perfectly cooked, and my husband loved the slaw as well. This place is a ten out of ten. Copilot recommended it, and it was spot on. We wanted seafood for our anniversary, and The Jones Oyster Co. did not disappoint. We will be making this place our regular stop when visiting Greenville.
The BEST meal I’ve had in Greenville/Spartanburg! The grilled Nola oysters were phenomenal! The lobster roll was buttery and delicious. It was an amazing anniversary dinner. Highly recommend!
Hands down one of the best seafood restaurants I have ever been to. It easily falls in my top 5 and is a must if you love seafood. The smoked fish dip was great. The oysters as fresh and can be and shucked perfectly with no shells in the 3 dozen plus I ate. The hushpuppies were great. The shrimp burger great. Are you catching the theme here? But hands down, the best thing was the grilled oysters! Let me just say I am generally a fan of my oysters raw, but these came recommended and I gave them a shot. Thank god I did because they were out of this world. So how good is The Jones Oyster Co. overall? So good that I would go out of my way to go back to Greenville just to eat there again. Amazing spot!
Consistency is key and Jones Oyster Co. has that in spades. We had yet another phenomenal evening with Jones and on a busy Friday night, no less. Bella took our name and kept us updated on the progress of our wait with a kind smile and great energy. At the bar, Kelsey helped us get a pair of cocktails for us and then an order of french fries for our child as we waited and did so with the happiest of affectations. Once we were seated at the projected time, Christian and Arielle took phenomenal care of us with good insight to the menu and helped us enjoy a wonderful meal. We cannot recommend Jones enough!
Wonderful lunch and great service! Sat at the bar, and Emma was fantastic. We had the happy hour dozen oysters, Connecticut lobster roll, Whole belly clam roll and fantastic “Lunch” IPA beer from Maine. Food was great and Emma was fabulous! We felt very welcomed and would highly recommend!
