This spot is everything you want in a cozy bar experience. The scenery is absolutely beautiful and the atmosphere is top tier perfect balance of classy and inviting. The location is super convenient, and not having to deal with expensive parking is a huge bonus. Shoutout to Jake behind the bar he really elevated the night. Every drink was crafted to perfection, smooth, flavorful, and clearly made with care. You can tell he knows what he’s doing. Mai Tai was our favorite drink of the night.
Amazing experience with service, food, and drinks. Atmosphere is great too and when sitting outside you see the bridge! I went during the day, but I have to think this place is amazing at night as well. I had the Chai Chai Slide drink and the Fig and Burrata flatbread. Both were delicious! I finished with an espresso martini which you can get with or without Bailey's (they asked me which NEVER happens when I go elsewhere). It was very tasty as well. Highly recommend this place!
If you’re looking for a romantic date night DON’T go to Spirit & Bower (Grand Bohemian’s Bar). My boyfriend and I went there last night and were treated horribly. We were both dressed nicely and appropriate to the venue we were attempting to enjoy a date at. However, from the moment we stepped in the door we were treated condescendingly, as though we were incapable of paying for our beverages. Our waitress (Victoria) required my boyfriend’s credit card before serving our drinks, which I understand is common at many establishments and I didn’t think anything of it… until I observed that she did not reciprocate the same requirement to anyone else that entered the bar. The entire time, her manner toward us was more to “keep an eye on us” rather than to provide genuine customer service. The cherry on top was when we were ready to leave. She hadn’t come to our table in around 20 minutes and we were ready to pay. So my boyfriend walked up to the bar, paid the tab, left a tip, and we began to leave. After making it out the door about 10 feet, we were chased down by our (suddenly appeared) waitress and told we hadn’t paid. Having sensed her disdain for us from the second we arrived at Spirit & Bower, he stood his ground and told her that the bill had already been paid inside. To this she argued and told him he needed to sign her pinpad. He told her for the third time that he had already paid inside. He said we would happily walk back inside to the bartender we had paid with to prove it to her. She reluctantly followed. Once we made it back inside (in a very embarrassing situation) she saw the signed receipt on the bar (with an appropriate tip) and instead of an apology of any kind, she simply kept walking away. Never an apology for the service or embarrassment. I have never been treated so poorly in an establishment in my life. I go to places prepared to pay for everything I want. I will never give my time or money to a place that doesn’t appreciate my business and Spirit & Bower is one of those places. — feeling disappointed.
Great place to have a drink or a meal and enjoy the views of the falls and downtown. Really relaxed and casual atmosphere with amazing views all around. The patio is a great place to hang out. Great location.
Excellent appetizers. We had the Deviled Eggs (sinful) and the truffle flatbread with pepperonis and was very tasty. I had the Old Fashioned with a great Rittenhouse Rye and wifey had the Maple Red Winter holiday drink. Both were excellent. Jenny and Sarah took care of us at the bar.
