I can’t recommend Tiffany enough. She’s insanely talented, genuinely caring, and every appointment turns into the best therapy session with laughs and great chats. I always leave feeling better inside and out. I went cherry cola with her and became so obsessed I keep going back for every touch up. I fully trust her with any change or recommendation. If you want someone skilled, hilarious, and truly invested in your hair and experience, she’s your girl!

I cannot recommend Tiffany enough. I’ve had great stylists in the past, but truly — nothing compares to her. I actually switched from previous stylists just to see her, and now I go to her every single month. She consistently makes my hair look and feel amazing, and I can honestly say I’ve never loved my hair or my color more than I do since seeing her. I get compliments all the time. Beyond her talent, she’s such a genuine, kind person who really listens and cares about her clients. I trust her completely with my hair. I’ve already referred multiple friends to her, and they’ve all had great experiences too. If you’re looking for a stylist who is consistent, incredibly talented, and truly passionate about what she does — she’s the one. And the studio is so welcoming, clean and fun to be in. Love love love!

I booked a haircut with Kathleen and she was fantastic. I previously had a bad experience with stylists getting scissor happy and cutting too much. Kathleen listen to all my concerns, maintained my length and made my hair healthy again. Book with her for long hair and layers!!

I had an incredibly frustrating and unpleasant experience at Salon Yoo with Vanessa Lacio, a senior stylist, and feel compelled to warn others. I went in for a simple haircut, clearly explaining exactly what I wanted, but Vanessa completely ignored my request and got scissor happy. Instead of the cut I asked for, she chopped off way more than I was comfortable with, leaving me with hair that’s far too short and uneven. I feel too embarrassed to leave the house because not only one side of my hair looks completely different from the other but she literally chopped all my hair off. The reason for this? Two different people worked on my hair, Vanessa and the receptionist, who tried to “help”, despite not knowing what she was doing. It was incredibly unprofessional and uncomfortable. The front desk girl tried to insert herself into the process, coming to offer assistance, which only made me feel uneasy. She had no idea what she was doing and only made things worse. She should stick to her role at the front desk and stop meddling with clients’ hair. To make things even worse, I observed that the salon is not hygienic. I saw tools being dropped on the floor and then used on me without being properly cleaned. This is absolutely unacceptable in a professional setting, especially when it comes to hair care. Hygiene should always be a priority, and the fact that this salon doesn't clean its tools properly made me feel even more uncomfortable. As if all that wasn’t enough, the atmosphere was unbearable. The speakers at the salon didn’t work, and the music played in a constant loop of static, making it incredibly unpleasant to sit through. Instead of a relaxing experience, I was subjected to annoying noise that made the whole appointment feel more stressful. When it came time to pay, Vanessa assumed she did such a great job and thought she deserved to keep more than 20% tip on top of the already overcharged price for a haircut that wasn’t what I asked for. This was beyond unprofessional and left me feeling completely disrespected. Overall, this was an unpleasant experience from start to finish. I expected much better from a senior stylist, especially after paying for such a terrible experience. It is unacceptable to intimidate, abuse and take advantage of people. I will not be returning, and I highly recommend you look elsewhere for a salon. Salon Yoo is unsanitary, unprofessional, and a complete waste of time and money.

honestly just wow! so glad to have found this shop and vanessa. vanessa did such an amazing job, cutting my long hair to short!! she killed it. couldn’t recommend the shop + her more. aaaand the hair wash + massage was everything. a complete self care day
