AJ was the technician completing the service today. He was great! Not only did he perform the usual spraying, but he also took care of a few wasp nests and cleaned up some of the weepholes on the outside of the house. He listened to my observations of the pests I’ve been seeing and explained everything he was going to do to address them very clearly. Kind, clean, and courteous! He took extra care to spray safely with consideration of my cats, too! Every time the technicians from Romney come out to my place, they’re always quick, effective, and nice to talk to! I recommend these folks for pest control.

Jeffrey has been our person several times and he is thorough, respectful, and efficient. He listens to our concerns and provides excellent service. We have been customers of Romney Pest Control for over 6 yrs and are very pleased with their service and price.

Not impressed with the service . I called to receive services for signs of mouse activity . The technician showed up and started to spray around the outside of my home as well as inside my home . Stated he placed bait boxes outside . He asked where I have noticed the mice activity and I showed him to my kitchen area . He glanced and felt under my sink cabinets and felt a gap stating , yeah this is most likely where they are getting in . Explained he could place poison bait but if it dies in the walls the smell would be bad and offered an odor eliminating bag . Stated “Okay well that’s it , you should be good .” I was taken back and felt confused … Long story short , I had to basically force him to move a few appliances to look behind where I had heard and suspected activity to look for entry points because I was terrified to do it myself and the reason why I hired a professional company !! We found a big hole in a cabinet next to my stove and mouse droppings . He told me “Yeah you are gonna have to make sure to seal that and the gap under the cabinets and that should help !” Needless to say he left and me ( a scared , single mother ) to end up attempting to patch and seal up those areas around a gas line mind you ! I literally was told they would patch up entry points unless it was something massive and none of that was done ! Hiring this company was a waste of time and money !! I feel I should’ve just hired a handy man to do the job. I do not recommend!

The experience with Romney Pest Control is not starting off well. The were scheduled for today between 9-12. They never showed. I called at 1145 and was told a manager would call me back, they never called. They said my appointment was for tomorrow, I said no, I have an email confirmation for today. I called again at 1645 because no one called me back and the customer service rep said she would reach out to the technicians to get one of them to come by today. When she called me back she said the technicians never responded to her request. So she rescheduled us for next Thursday. Terrible customer service and communication, so far, I am not impressed.

I’ve used Romney for years. I can always trust they’ll do a great job. I especially enjoy having Datron service our property. He’s top notch and always so pleasant.
