Overall, King Taco is one of the premier taco establishments and chains across the United States. The location in Pasadena, in particular, is excellent. However, it tends to become very crowded, resulting in limited seating and occasionally slower service depending on the volume of orders. I recommend trying the quesadilla with Carne Asada and the Carne Asada tacos. Their all-meat burrito is also excellent, as is the Horchata. Be prepared to allocate an extra 15 to 20 minutes for waiting, as the food preparation time is comparable to most taco shops. Due to the high crowd density, lines tend to be long, with only two cashiers and a small team of cooks managing orders, which can slow down service. Parking can be challenging, but there are some options in nearby lots, especially on Arroyo and Fairoaks streets. However, these require a walk of about 6 to 7 minutes to reach the restaurant.

I really like the red hot sauce from here. I do not eat a lot of hot sauce anymore but I still like to taste a little bit of it. I always like eating the burrito 🌯 de Asada from here. It is one of my favorite food to eat. I appreciate the service of king taco. 🙏

I lovee me some King Taco whenever I see one!! OMG. This location though ..... 🤏🏽🤏🏽🤏🏽 Soo nicee and welcoming. The area surrounding is just relaxing to walk around in. The actual restaurant felt so comfy, it was prestine clean and the workers were spot on and attentive from the point you enter the restaurant till you leave. I appreciated the fact they allowed me to try the agua fresca before I paid for it. Overall, I definitely would return to this location. It is only a half a block from the Metro A Line also! So BONUS!!! ✋🙌🏽🙌🏽 Aisha and Jose gave exceptional service, they were over attentive to their guests and made sure my family had correct orders and anything else I needed. In the process of dining, I knocked my drink over dealing with my 10 month old, I felt bad, but Alejandro made sure we moved to a fresh table with a fresh new drink and he was fast and handled the situation amazingly and gracefully. As a manager/supervisor myself, this team and location is ran BEAUTIFULLY!! Keep it up! 🙌🏽🫶🏽 We will definitely be returning!

4.1 is the new 1* Avoid this place at all cost. Drive that extra 5-10 min to a different taco spot . Everything about this place is trash. Just look at the sorry excuse for nachos, they couldn't even add the jalapeños I paid for... Sorry place. Tacos the size of Ritz crackers, stingy with the sauce. Why is this place still open?

I had a great experience at King Taco. The food was fresh, flavorful, and came out quickly, and everything in my order was made correctly. Aaron provided great customer service and was friendly, helpful, and professional throughout my visit. Even while it was busy, he stayed positive and made sure customers were taken care of. It’s always nice to have both good food and good service, and this visit definitely had both. Thank you to Aaron and the team for making it a great experience. I’ll definitely be coming back!
