Mai is amazing. Very flexible with walk ins and regulars. I needed my grays covered and she chose an excellent complimenting color. I look like I lost 10 years, yay. The salon is between UH and Waikiki, super convenient. Good vibes and clientele. I will be back. Highly recommend Mai for your hair needs.

Then the magic began -- she is such a skilled stylist to work with my hair type, my face shape, and created a personalized cut to perfectly suit me. I am so happy to have found a neighborhood stylist I can trust with my hair!
I was visiting a friend in Waikiki and I wanted to highlight my hair. Through a Google search I discovered Mai and texted her regarding price and availability. She responded immediately and not only was her price fair, but her interest in precisely what I wanted, and her suggestions and professionalism were enough to make me feel comfortable and confident in my choice. Mai is warm and kind and compassionate. She treated my hair and then trimmed it in a way no other stylist ever had! She is an artist! I was in Hawaii to celebrate my birthday and wanted a fresh new haircut. I found Mai through Yelp and Google reviews and she was able to get me and friend in. Let me just say, Mai is amazing! She took her time with me, analyzing my hair, taking her time to cut and style. I never felt rushed and felt very pampered. What a birthday and I felt great after. Great service! I came in for a trim to get rid of my dry ends. I called Mai earlier in the day and she was able to fit me in her schedule the same day. She’s very friendly and welcoming. I enjoyed the conversation and her attention to detail while doing my hair, even though it was a simple trim. My hair felt amazingly soft afterwards and I’ve officially found my favorite spot for getting my hair done!
