I spoke with Marlene in the business license department, and she was really pleasant and helpful. She walked me through each of the forms that I needed to complete, gave me a lesson on completing them, and helped me navigate the differences between the city and the county. I highly recommend her if you need assistance in that department.
You can tell when a city cares about its citizenry. Greenville is beautiful, clean and friendly. We’ve lived a lot of places and we’re so glad we chose this place to call our forever home
Another challenge to Greenville's neighborhoods stems from gentrification. To anyone who thinks otherwise, Black residents can testify that gentrification is alive and well in Greenville. One of them is City Council Mayor Pro Tem Lillian Brock Flemming, who this year marked 40 years on the council.
Love this place. We live here, and it's like a vacation everyday. The city staff is conscientious and helpful, always.
The women who work in the business licensing department all have serious attitude problems. Beyond rude.
