First of all, the hygiene conditions are unacceptable. Homeless people regularly wash their belongings here, and the machines are clearly not cleaned afterward. Inside the washing machines you can actually see black grime and old mold, which makes it extremely unpleasant to use them for personal laundry. The staff is also very unfriendly and unhelpful. I had a serious incident here when the electricity went out while my laundry was in the washing machines. I had already paid for the wash. The employee told me that when the power returned, he would restart the machines. Instead, he simply left and closed the laundromat, leaving my clothes locked inside the machines. My laundry sat there for an entire day. When I came back at 7 AM the next morning, my clothes had completely soured and smelled like old rags. The new employee on shift said he knew nothing about the situation, so I had to pay again to wash everything a second time — even though the problem was clearly not my fault. On top of all this, the prices for washing and drying are higher than other laundromats in the area, while the quality and service are extremely poor. Overall, this laundromat is overpriced, poorly maintained, and badly managed. I truly hope the management will refund me for the second wash, since I had to pay twice because of their mistake. I strongly recommend avoiding this place.
It was a long wait for the attendant to come out, and 1/3 of the washers and dryers were not working. Otherwise, the washers washed, and the dryers dried. Nice view of Diamond Head. Not really their fault, but the homeless man sleeping outside around the corner smelled SO bad that the inside of the laundromat smelled, too!
It’s a smaller place. 15 front loaders and 10 dryers avail for self-wash. They also do laundry service. Quiet when I arrived but busy when I left with a wait, so plan accordingly. Best prices I’ve found on island: $3.50 for large front loader and $1.50 get 16 mins on dryer. Change machine on the back wall. Other customers were pleasant and helpful. Place is pretty clean. Only 4 stars because there were no seats anywhere. At all. I hung out leaning against wall in parking lot during 30 min wash cycle and against an available folding table during the drying. Nice view from front door.
Great drop off, wash and fold service, super convient, long business hours, easy next day laundry pick up. Street and lot parking is abundant.
$4 wash(30 mins). $1.50 16 minutes dryer time. No seating or water only a vending machine and change machine to get coins. Good overall to get the job done
