We are very happy with our new fence and our overall experience with AAA Fencecrafters. Our first interaction was with Nico, who came out to measure and provide us with as estimate. He took the time to measure our property, walk us through the entire process, and he even played fetch with our dogs while we chatted. The installation took 3 days (day one the posts and concrete were installed, day two the concrete dried, and day three the fence was finished). The "Charleston Style" looks great and we couldn't be happier.

I purchased a $4000 double sided fence from this company 12 years ago. Even though I am very happy with the fence I can't get this company to call me back on a quote to replace the 2 locks on each of my single doors. They keep telling me that they are wanting on the repair department to get back with Kristina.

I called AAA fence to provide a quote to install a fence on my home. Upon arrival, I was told how great they were, offered to "call" previous customers, and provided numerous photos of previous work they have completed. their pricing was quite higher than each and every quote I received, but, I felt like from photos of previous work, they would do a good job and that was most important to me as I have a 5 year old daughter and this fence was as much about security as it was privacy. After signing the agreement, and paying my deposit, (50%), I asked them to provide a certificate of Insurance, When asked to provide a certificate of insurance they shined me on and never gave it to me. Before allowing the sales rep leave I composed and printed a Liability release for stating that I know they are not insured and that NO claims arising out of any part of the installation shall be held against me, my heirs or my insurance company. The rep reluctantly signed my document. Upon arrival on the day of installation (8:00am), after walking the jobsite with the foreman, and explaining where I wanted the fence and access gates to be located, I let him know I had a prior engagement and would be gone until about 2;00pm. We had a nice conversation and I left. When I arrived back home the fencing was not only not in the right place it was on my neighbors property. I asked the foreman why they didn't install the fence where it was supposed to go, all of a sudden he didn't speak very good English. He did finally get out to me that my ground was "too hard" to dig so they moved the fence to where it was easier to install, but that I should be happy because I got 4' of extra fencing free. I was irate and as of yet, (8 months later) the company has NOT returned ANY of my calls, I have not received my deposit back, nor have they removed the fencing installed. I am currently filing in civil court to get the issue resolved. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY - THEY ARE OVER PRICED, USE CHEAP LABOR, DONT DO AS ASKED, ARE VERY DISHONEST TO WORK WITH...!!!!!!

We hired AAA Fencecrafters to add to an existing fence in a home we recently purchased. They gave us a quote and performed the work in a timely manner as promised. However, it turned out the pickets were not spaced properly and our dog was able to easily walk out of the fence. After a few options were explored, we decided to add pickets inside the fence in a shadow box pattern and add one more gate to separate a court yard from the back yard. There was only one more post to be set to create the second gate yet we were charged the same amount as the first round of work, effectively doubling the total amount we spent on the fence. We were frustrated with the total amount but felt the work was solid and liked the finished product. Besides, what other option did we have? Our dog was not safe without fixing the issue. I think AAA Fencecrafters knew that and took advantage of us at that point. I wish that was the worst experience we had with AAA Fencecrafters but, unfortunately, it was not. We came home from a weekend out of town to discover the power was out in our home. We promptly called Duke Energy who came out very quickly considering the time of night. Duke Energy quickly diagnosed that one of the fence posts was dug too close to the power line, effectively encasing the buried power line in concrete causing the line to overheat and fail. This was a surprise to us as AAA Fencecrafters personally called Palmetto Utility Protection Service to have all the lines marked prior to construction. This was, after all, why we hired a fence company to erect our fence – to avoid serious issues. To add injury to insult, we lost everything in our refrigerator and freezer! Over $400 of food wasted! I had to take another half day off from work to throw out spoiled food and replace groceries for my family. My wife and I have repeatedly called their office only to find an aggressive receptionist who refuses (or has been ordered not) to connect us with the company owner or anyone that will accept responsibility for the power failure and loss of food. Each call became more and more contentious with every call ending with a hollow promise to have someone call us back. Now more than 8 days later, we are still waiting for AAA Fencecrafters to call us back. Obviously, they are hoping we will give up letting them off the hook and helping them avoid filing an insurance claim because they screwed up. We have now resorted to filing a formal complaint with the Better Business Bureau because AAA Fencecrafters don’t have the common decency to address our concerns or accept responsibility for a mistake that resulted in power failure and loss of food in our home. I can only wonder if other fence companies in Greenville treat their customers this poorly and conduct their business with such little regard for their customers. Guess I’ll never know. Beware of using this company – too expensive and not customer oriented!

AAA is the BEST! They offer excellent customer service, do beautiful work, and get it done in a timely manner! It is a well run organization where it seems everyone works hard to meet the needs of the customer. I highly recommend them!
